kandicha Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 the studios saw the backlash to the leaked AI proposal and RAN to make a deal instead of dragging it out longer 1
Indie Go Mind Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 FINALLY! I have so many shows I've missed!
D_Man3379 Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 How long are these deals usually? Because 3 seems short unless that’s how it’s always been of course.
Uncatena Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 go unions!! so glad SAG-AFTRA got what they wanted, especially in terms of AI

Hurem Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 I’m gonna need to details on the deal, because I’m really scared of what they settled on when it comes to AI.
Rachel Berry Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 I’m so happy they managed to come to an agreement.
X~MoviePoP Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Well looks like some members may vote no to the agreement

Mystic Warrior Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 1 hour ago, X~MoviePoP said: Well looks like some members may vote no to the agreement No real surprise, only 86% approved the tentative agreement as opposed to WGA's almost unanimous numbers. There will no doubt be another strike once this contract is up if studios don't start getting it together and recognizing what's important, and that's authentically human stories and creativity.
