Speaking about a negative trend, Midnights changed everything in no time. Out for less than a year, it’s up to the unreal total of 11.2 million.

We can also point out how difficult it is to hit 10 million many times, ones your casual listeners are already satisfied with plenty of hits from you.

In fact, Taylor Swift used to be the only female singer with 5 10-million sellers this millennium – overall, Eminem, the strongest competitor, owns 6. Now, she destroys everyone as she claims 9 (!) albums over 10 million.

She now records well over 2 million sales per month, in quiet periods. What about the total to date though? Taylor Swift adds for 159.45 million equivalent album sales. After passing Barbra Streisand, she tops Whitney Houston this week.

Only 4 other female singers own 3 albums at 20+ million. Madonna, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Celine Dion.

Only 4 other acts own 9 albums or more at 10+ million. The Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna.

Yes, she is on that league now. And she is still only 33. Phew.

CM combines Taylor’s Versions with the OG releases right? Speak Now coming to surpass 15M :clap3:

We thought 2021 was crazy because she was moving 1M units per month. She’s now moving twice as many units per month :bibliahh:

Midnights at 11.2M :clap3:

Lover at 12.6M :clap3:

Rep at 13M :clap3:

1989 at 26M :clap3:

Her pop catalogue having like 63M units off of 4 albums, and that’s not counting Red (since it’s more country) at 22M :ahh:

_____

For country:

Debut 11.2

Fearless 23.6

Speak Now 14

Red 22.9

= 71.1M country units. I can’t believe this is still 8M units ahead of her pop discography, but the 3 TVs released so far being country helps that.

Her least successful country record and her “currently least successful” pop record being on par is sending me (though of course Midnights will probably get to 20M in the long run)

______

folklore at 10.7M and evermore at 6.4M :clap3:  At 17.1M units she must have the biggest career in folk music of this century :clap3: :gaycat2:

A multi-genre queen, a versatile musical mastermind!

She’ll get to 100m units with her country catalog when she one day returns to her home genre, I just know it :alexz3:
