I mean, just look at the material…

plus Rick Nowels credits, a proper “sellout” era, and a sound that influenced multiple generations of artists. Does it deserve more credit?

No, since it literally have three good songs.

Jewel in general deserves more recognition.

The other girlies WISH they could make a Standing Still.

Btw did Jewel make any comments on this album/era recently, I am curious how she views this era today

Stand, Run 2 U, Intuition, Leave the Lights On, Fragile Heart, Haunted, Sweet Temptation, Yes U Can, and Becoming is a lot more than 3 (and that was me actually being harsh on the songs :lakitu:)

I feel bad for Jewell, since this album was co-produced by Lester Mendez, Shakira’s original collaborator for her 90s Spanish music. I think Lester kind of sabotaged Jewel. :gaycat7:

I know people hated Intuition for the longest, but it remains a classic on my iPod Nano👏

Why did people hate it :ace: I feel like it’s Jewel’s most popular song along with Standing Still

She prob hates it, as do most artists who had a sellout era and look back on it :monkey:

I haven't listened to the entire album but Intuition is such a bop. Listening to Stand right now and it's alright.

EDIT: It's a cute little pop album, but I wouldn't say pop bible. Intuition, Run 2 U, Doin' Fine, Sweet Temptation and Becoming are the highlights.

She did do some special release for Pride Month so maybe she thinks it was misunderstood era and appreciates the gays for getting the era unlike most of the GP? Ksksksksk
