bmg is not as good as yall think. it only works for certain artists.

Good for her :clap3:

Jessie no longer has the same success she had in the past so it’s best for her to just do whatever she wants without a major label holding her

whole world moved

It’s wild she keeps getting sign by major record labels yet Leona Lewis is still label less even though Bleeding Love is bigger than anything Jessie has done.

Good! With her talent she does deserve somewhat of a career.

She was definitely dropped by Universal

Good move if it's true :clap3:

I do wonder if that means she'll have to restart her album from scratch again

No hits anymore.

To be fair BMG is on the lower end of major labels, the closest you can get to being an independent artist whilst still being signed. It's mostly reserved for legacy acts, don't think Jessie would be considered one (yet).

BMG isn’t a traditional record label. It is more of a marketing and distribution partner.

Yeah I wanted to say that but couldn't find the words.

It works great if you have a loyal following already, or make money from touring. It’s terrible for everyone else.

I even forgot about the album she was allegedly working on. I Want Love was kinda nice but I hope she reworked it and went for different producers. Haven't been a huge fan of Ryan Tedder's new works
