Anyone know what to do about a hacked and suspended Twitter account?

Hi ATRL friends. I have a Twitter I mainly use to read things but have built a network of followers and people I follow on it. I used my account less and less following Muskrats hostile takeover, and thought my account was fine for all this time. I haven't used it for months. I logged in today and find my account suspended. Not only is it suspended, but when I clicked my profile, all of my followers and following was gone, and my entire account was utterly SPAMMED with bullsh** in Chinese. Wtf?! There's literally thousands of spam Tweets I never posted, and now I'm reading this has happened to others and they cannot create another account because Twitter keeps rejecting their appeals. Twitter has now rejected two of my appeals, and I cannot even deactivate my account so that I can create a new one with the same name. What the hell am I supposed to do?! Has anyone else dealt with this? Is trying to mess with Twitter really just beating a dead horse here?

I quoted someone on Twitter that said inappropriate stuff (they said it in another language and I translated it) and got permabanned on that account. No one else can use the Twitter handle. Use a fake number and fake stuff and be careful.

I'm guessing alot of the people I followed anyways are probably active on Threads now too? I may just let twitter have the account but I'm slightly annoyed because my picture is on it and I'm not sure I can delete it since it's locked

Someone hacked an account I had even though I didn't use it. They logged in, changed my email address and password, and that was that. I put in a request to get access to it back, but it was denied despite sending it from my email address I had before they changed it with screenshots of the email saying someone logged into my account and that someone changed my password. Apparently that is not enough proof that the account was mine and it was denied.

Ever since E*** took over, security on Twitter is nonexistent... I've read at least 10 threads on Reddit of people also saying their Twitter was hacked in the last few months. I'd just get off Twitter completely, I deleted my account but still use the app to get news, etc. Twitter is truly a disaster of epic proportions, the man has literally drove it straight into a ditch.
