People say the Academy was giving Meryl too much noms, but if we're being honest, she even deserved more.

I rewatched J&J not too long ago and was surprised at just how great she is in it. Obviously she's very talented and delivered technically perfect character work, but I forgot how charismatic and warm she is in the role.

"Doubt" is my favorite performance by far from both Meryl and Amy Adams.

 

I haven't watch any of her 70s/80s movies except for Sophie's Choice/KvsK tho. "Out of Africa" is the next one from my watchlist

The ultimate Miranda in DWP, she is killing it. Meryl perfectly portray an "evil" Miranda that cold outside but warm and humanize inside. One of Meryl's finest performance to date.
