Popular Post mystery Posted July 5, 2023 Author Popular Post Share Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) Directing music videos for Adele, acting in blockbuster films, having an actor father who provided an easy entry into the industry, debuting with your feature film at 19 years old (financed from projects as a child actor) and yet complaining that you don't have an audience or a platform that watches your films. Many many filmmakers would die for to have the easy access to the industry that he has. Not to mention an upcoming HBO show. Countless of thousands of talented filmmakers create amazing work that goes unseen and will never gain any recognition, yet they still do it because they have passion for it and a drive to create. I don't know how I feel about this logic though. On one hand, I understand feeling constantly disappointed that your work isn't being seen/appreciated enough, but on the other hand, I believe that if you truly have a passion for filmmaking, then you would keep doing it even if the same 10 people are watching your films. Also not like Xavier is a struggling broke filmmaker? He's pretty known imo and has a good following at least.
