there should really be a "before streaming" all time list and an "after streaming" all time list.   Or they should change "hit" to "entry".

Prediction for this week :lmao:

#28. “Barbie World” by Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice — [-21] *2 Weeks* {Peak #7}

By the way I think you're confusing me with someone else, I don't have the slightest idea about Kpop but I'm sick of seeing how the fans of a certain rapper mass buy their single the first week and then they don't bother to stream her music

Girl, cut the bullshit. I GUARANTEE you that if I saw you randomly on the street and stopped you and asked you to name me 5 SONGS by either Jay Z or Eminem (regardless of whether or not they went top 10), you couldn't do it. So just stop. But I bet you could name 5 Nicki songs :clap3:

I've proven what? That you are so limited that all you know how to do is try to discredit someone you don't even know because you can't defend that currently Nicki's "Hits" are based on massive digital sales during the first week.

I know perfectly well Eminem's & Jay's catalog, the one who doesn't seem to know the "HITS" of his own idol is you.

2023 -Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice -Barbie World - 37K digital sales - 1 week Top 10 (-21 "projected")

2023 -Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj -Princess Diana - 77K digital sales - 1 week Top 10 (-25)

2022 -Nicki Minaj -Super Freaky Girl - 89K digital sales - her only legitimate hit of recent times

2022 - Nicki Minaj & Lil Baby - Do We Have a Problem? - 48K - 1 week Top 10 (-30)

The numbers speak for themselves

Can you name another female rapper that has recently spent multiple weeks in the top 10 on the Hot 100 on several occasions? Not every song is going to smash, especially from an artist that is 15 years deep into their career. The fact that she still has fans that care enough to help launch her into the top 10 is incredibly impressive. It's not typical for urban hits by female artists to spend multiple weeks in the top 10 on the Hot 100.

Barbie World spent an entire week in the US Spotify top 10, is still averaging more than 1.5M streams a day, and is gaining on radio

Princess Diana debuted in the top 10 on the US streaming songs chart, and is currently #5 on Rhythmic radio

SFG...we all know about her

DWHAP debuted at #2 on US Spotify and also peaked at #2 on Urban radio.

To claim that these songs weren't "hits" just because they only spent 1 week in the Hot 100 would discredit many songs by many female rappers, so I think you need to brush up on your chart knowledge before you speak.

Why do you mention female rappers when this discussion is not about that? I don't think I will ever understand the insecurity you have that makes you change the discussion as soon as you have no arguments.

Barbie World spent an entire week in the US Spotify top 10 and is gaining on radio - Not enough to avoid dropping 20 places

Princess Diana debuted in the top 10 on the US streaming songs chart, and is currently #5 on Rhythmic radio - I think we all know how radio works, if that's your argument...

DWHAP peaked at #2 on Urban radio. - If you have to rely on the radio and not on actual consumption of the song something is wrong with this conversation.

And you’re focusing on 3 songs out of 23 top 10s is showing your hatred towards Nicki. The list of songs with multiple weeks in the top 10 is higher up in the thread. Try channeling your hatred towards other artists into something positive.

Congrats to the queen of rap :loki:her longevity is impressive.
