elevate Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Boooo. We want more fun, campy films like Barbie, not more nostalgia cash ins. Percy Jackson makes sense because we never really got a proper adaption, but HP and Narnia really don't and their fans take up too much space, xoxo. 1
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted July 3, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 3, 2023 This is so random Didn't really think she was interested in Christian propaganda. 1
Rino Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 it will be impossible for anyone to top Tilda Swinton's White Witch 5
Attitude Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 I haven't liked these books since I found out they were about Christianity. 1
Badgalbriel Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Yes!!!! Can't wait for it. The Narnia stories are some of my favorite childhood books ever.
Blade Runner Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 (edited) WTF NO. Ugh. When is Hollywood f+cking going to learn? The really love to ruin their promising talent. Edited July 3, 2023 by Blade Runner

Mordecai Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 It's almost as if Hollywood deserves to be shut down rn bc they keep pulling sh*t like this. When will they get that we want new and original ideas, not these lazy reboots and remakes? 1
Blue Monday Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 I'm conflicted because on the one hand I know she's the type of writer/director that can really make something that's not special, special and she probably wants to secure a bag or two while she can so she can fund whatever she actually wants to do. On the other hand.... does it have to be Narnia and Netflix?
poki Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 How will they handle the ending of the franchise? Spoiler In the end, the world of Narnia is destroyed and we discover that technically most of the cast was dead and that Narnia was a sort of afterlife. Those who are worthy are allowed to be reborn in a new world. If you want to know about the professor, you should read The Magician's Nephew, it is his life story. That's my favorite one.
poki Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 They should do The Magician's Nephew as a Netflix show first.
X~MoviePoP Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 These books are AMAZING. The first narnia movie is epic and is perfect.... I hope they dont ruin these 1
poki Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 I really do think they should find a way not to redo the first movie because it genuinely stands out fantastically on its own.
