I feel like an argument could be made, her direct influence on Ariana is ofc obvious, but she is basically the godmother of modern day alternative hip-hop. Her influence on early 10s cloud rap is the foundation of rappers like Travis Scott, Uzi, Carti, etc. and she is still influencing those niche underground music genres like breakcore and ambient alternative music. I could see arguments for others being #1, but I would definitely say she’s at least top 10.

yeah definitely influential, but I think the most influential (and this is no shade to the brilliant Miss Imogen) would probably have to have a more prolific discographyyyyy tbh

she's the most influential relative to her commercial popularity :clap3:

Yes she is.

"Hide and Seek" alone on The OC season 2 finale cleared several MPG careers.

Shes up there. When I first heard Caroline Polachek I thought Imogen had released new music.
