Supporting trans people protects the cis gays as well, it's beyond me why people refuse to accept that.

Unthinkable for any other 1st world nation.
Illuminati Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 You know it's bad when even the blue checks aren't backing up this right wing mess
NEX Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Trump could have been a great president if he ran as a Democrat. Imagine the things he could have accomplished if he pushed the leftist agenda as hard
Vermillion Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 DeSantis trying to get donors while also pulling this 8Chan mess? He can't have it both ways. Trump was able to because no one anticipated his rise off birtherism or few his win AND his surrogates parsed out the appeal to different groups in different ways - Bannon and the Mercers covering the GamerGate crowd and Pence placating the rest. Ron doesn't have any of that and this reads as flailing. 1
Vermillion Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 ALL the pick me rich white crowd like the Log Cabiners are apparently out in full force against this - Richard Grenell, Caitlyn Jenner, etc. It certainly does have legs given it's all politics Twitter seems to be talking about for two days straight despite the SCOTUS rulings. Maybe this will all be for show if Trump somehow goes down before the convention and they have no choice but Ron but I don't see that happening.
Vermillion Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Oh, let me also leave this here. Quote Trump supporters also pointed out that DeSantis had sent two branded baby onesies to one of his most prominent allies, the gay conservative commentator Dave Rubin, after he became a father to two babies via surrogacy with his husband in 2022 1
simplywohoo Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Atp its really whatever democrat will run > trump > desantis Like ofc nobody sane would want a republican in office but if i had to pick one between the two, it's easily (and i can't believe i'm typing this) trump 1
DamianSolo Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 I'm happy Ron is falling flat on his face with every step he takes. Trump running the country was bad enough, which we're still feeling the effects from, but Ron being president would be the worst-case scenario. He's stupid, but he's still actually knowledgeable enough in politics for the worst.
Katamari Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 That gay is going super viral on Reddit hope it’s his wake up call!
modeblock Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 NOT Patrick Bateman, what in the 2010'd Reddit meme hell? put a fork in her, she's done
banterfly Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 Vivek R is the most sane republican candidate. People should look into him.
VOSS Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 NYT article from today: Quote One recent move that drew intense blowback, including from Republicans, was the campaign’s sharing of a bizarre video on Twitter that attacked Mr. Trump as too friendly to L.G.B.T.Q. people and showed Mr. DeSantis with lasers coming out of his eyes. The video drew a range of denunciations, with some calling it homophobic and others homoerotic before it was deleted. But it turns out to be more of a self-inflicted wound than was previously known: A DeSantis campaign aide had originally produced the video internally, passing it off to an outside supporter to post it first and making it appear as if it was generated independently, according to a person with knowledge of the incident.
