Biden using Higher Education Act for Student Loan Forgiveness after SCOTUS decision

He's apparently going to introduce his same student loan forgiveness plan but using the Higher Education Act after the SCOTUS decision said he can't do it using the HEROES Act.

We don't actually know yet that the new plan will be functionally identical. I wouldn't count on that - I feel like it's likely to be more restrictive, not equally so or less.

Good that Biden isn’t  giving up on this issue. This is honestly better than what I was expecting from him. He could’ve just said “ I tried it“ and moved on.

Considering the Higher Education Act is what they use to forgive loans from those taken in by those scam for profit colleges, it should work.
