Bethenny Frankel Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 It seems like all the media exposure and the stances that RFK Jr. is taking are actually hurting him with Democrats. Who knew Dems wouldn't want to vote for basically a Republican? I won't be shocked if Marianne outpolls him at some point.
Vroom Vroom Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 The thing is, New Hampshire is threatening to keep their primary date and not have Biden on the ballot. If this goes through, Marianne or RFKjr would win New Hampshire, no matter what the polls say. Losing New Hampshire under these circumstance would be embarrassing for Biden, but it would not affect the final outcome

Communion Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) Unfortunately for Biden, Cornel West is now polling at 6% nationally and just enough to give Trump the W so the refusal to accept an actual challenge from the left within the Democratic Party already seems to be leading to an exodus out of the party. Cornel West has basically made Williamson's reform within the party irrelevant. Any sheepherding her campaign or progressive media types were planning to do if she failed to move Biden has basically become pointless now that energy can be thrown to West outside of the duopoly. Isn’t the Green Party pretty floppy? In 2020 their candidate did not even get on every ballot. Then Jill Stein only got 1% of the vote in 2016. If West gets popular, Biden will need to make changes to his agenda to win over potential West voters

I do not buy this. He may be polling at 6%, but when it comes to the general, people are going to vote for Biden.

The poll above is for the general. Biden loses those 6 points largely due to young, largely black voters, switching to West. This lines up with young voters supporting Democrats yet also not being committed to voting for them loyally like their parents do.
