at first I didn't care whether she was gonna win or lose but now i'm gonna be pissed if she loses all her nominations after all this campaigning

the amount of times she performed "all american *****" is deserved but at the same time I guenuinly think it should've been "ballad of a homeschooled girl" since it's the Grammy nominated song

 

i know she did campaign for the song at Jimmy Kimmel but it also should've been the SNL + the 2 other live performances

she's gonna lose Pop Vocal to "Midnights" and that's gonna hurt the most tbh  that was the only competition.

because as much as I love Taylor, that is easily her worst album, full of Rep/Lover rihjects and lazy vocals. but unfortunately it also has the biggest supporting campaign of all time called "Eras Tour".

I wouldn’t compare Midnights to Reputation or Lover. Those “lazy vocals” are really just a much more understated and subtle pop style and the lyrical style is also pretty distinct. No idea who will win any of the awards, though.

i was expecting 8 songs atleast

They should release "Love is Embarrassing" as the fourth and final single.

 

Then re-release a year after the album came out with a smash first single.

It will make no noise and just be a waste of playlisting and radio dollars

If any song should be the fourth single is obsessed, the GP would think it's a new song. Then re-release GUTS with a few more new songs to keep the era rolling while she tours all next year, do some collabs, hustle the way through the year like how Dua did with Future Nostalgia.

in a commercial potential point of view 'making the bed' > 'love is embarrassing', if i had to choose between 'making the bed' and 'love is embarrassing' as a single; but both LIE/MTB are the obvious pop radio candy track on the album

 

but still we should give credit to Olivia for not goin the easy route after 'vampire' and releasing heavy rock tracks such as BIR/GHG
