They removed the strings intro that she teased on Instagram earlier this week, it's probably for radio/streaming playlists purposes.

Bruh its literally just a few seconds longer this is so ******* ridiculous 🙄

Literally she could've made the thumbnail anything else Rita sis change this 💀

Song is good but at the same time it sounds... empty? As if something is missing. I think it's the "na na" that should've been replaced for something else.

It's clearly missing something in the production on the chorus. It sounds cheap af, too bad the verses and the melody on the chorus are very good.

Really loving this. Rita queen of electronic music!

OMG this is definitely fresh yet on trend ... Maybe they should have gone with this as the lead single?

However the chorus needs to be bigger IMO... Feel like it needs a drop or smth

Does this sound like a Pussycat Dolls single that never was to anyone else?

The chorus production needed a push, it's kind of empty.

It's a bop. Probably the best of the three singles. But seeing that it's once again not on (m)ANY of the major playlists on Spotify is concerning. I guess the goal here is to snatch a quick top 10 with the album and move on.

Really wonder if she'll stay with BMG. Make a major label move? Or pause on the music front?

I think I like this the most, it sounds really fresh without being too basic.

THE VIOLINS :jonny5:

The best song so far

Great song. She should have lead the era with this and then Praising You.

I'd love for Rita to tap into a PCD soundscape

That's because BMG is a small label and y'all already know this. She's not gonna get the usual push that she would get when she was on a label. She's gonna stay with BMG because of the freedom, support and lack of pressure she gets to do whatever she wants. Just enjoy the music and support your girl.

I can't get over how they chose "You Only Love Me" over this. It's everything, great song and mass-friendly. So ****ing stupid !!!

I like this and I can see how this is more leaning to her first album sonically. But at the same time it really is missing something. Maybe it will grow but Praising You was better imho

you have to know that there's a version of the song that has a very EDM formulation.
The lyrics are the same, but the presence of the EDM formula gives that little push, but at the same time the released one is slightly better (even if the EDM one has more violins in the end and in the middle).

What a SONG! A monster! :flame:

Potentially the best song she’s ever released. :clap3:

OMGGG this is amazing wow why did she wait to release this heavenly track

Not really feeling this, the overproduced vocals sound disjointed with the more "organic" production (the violins etc). Not that I have a problem with over processed vocals, it was giving with the aggressive industrial beats on Bang, but it's an odd creative choice on here

Praise You remains my fave

This is so good :clap3:

Her best song since Ritual. This has to be a hit :jonnycat:

I hear you, but I've always had a slight issue with this stance. "X artist can do whatever they want. Enjoy the music"

I've followed enough artists, campaigns, and career trajectories over time to know that there is a direct relationship between commercial success and the artist's long-term viability of even releasing music.

So many mid-tier and (dare I say) flop artists ultimately cease releasing music, stick to other ventures, and end up with years of musical silence. Why? Because there has to be a commercial return on investment. Not just for any label, but also for the artist (e.g. pouring in time, money, connections, etc ought to have some kind of ROI to make it worth it).

In Rita's case, pouring her all into music has to have an end-goal result that makes it worthwhile. So, if (as has been the case) she can't get a hit single, then decent album sales and a tour are a must to justify the investment of time and $$$.

If it gets to a point where it's flop singles, flop album sales, and no tour, it'll beg the question of "what is the actual point?". Given how much she makes from other stuff, I legit think this is a question she's probably pondering now already.

Have seen time in and time out: after realizing the music isn't moving the needle, the artist goes into TV or some other venture and fans are screaming in confusion as to why there's "no album". The unavoidable answer is because it's NOT just about the music. Never was and never will be. It's the music...business. "Business" being the key term.

Really rooting for Rita and one thing is for sure: she hustles hard. So even if the album flops and she's deterred from doing another anytime soon, then I hope she can keep her musical flame burning with DJ collabs etc.
