Rumors of paramount going to Netflix seems to be true. Honestly good. We only need Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV as the new Big 3

Apple? Prime Video has more better original shows (and movies) than Netflix, Disney, Paramount and Apple combined :deadbanana:.

Upload, The Boys, Invincible, Fleabag, The Expanse, Reacher, Mrs. Maisel, etc.

Netflix: Queen's Gambit, Never Have I Ever, Stranger Things and The Crown. Apple: Tedd Lasso and Severance, Paramount: iCarly? Lol.

Piracy remains the best conservation tool. The fact that corporations get to decide to erase a movie or show from existence just like that...

As long as the Classic Star Trek shows (TOS, TNG, DS9 and Voyager) remains untouched then I don't really care.

I've seen ads for Grease one almost every single day for weeks. lol Those shows are complete pabulum, so they won't be missed. More garbage on the tip of 21st-century media!

Prodigy was the only recent Star Trek show I could tolerate.

What is the point of streaming services if they are going to remove everything?

Something related to them not paying royalties or something like that, since the shows would not be airing anywhere.

The way streaming services are making this a more common practice...  just to save some bucks. It is their fault, they all got greedy and these services starting to pop up everywhere. They really thought people would subscribe to all of them.

glad for the backlash but hopefully they can do a DVD/digital  release at least :clap3:

Lowkey quite sad about Pink Ladies tbh, yeah it really wasn’t very good but the cast, choreo and sets were fantastic and there was definitely some potential hidden in there. It also had a very well handled lesbian relationship so that also feels like a slap on the face if it disappears before this month ends. The show literally just finished weeks ago as well :!ohno:

That Sarah Michelle Gellar show is probably next :biblio:

what the actual ****… they better not touch icarly unless it’s to renew it for season 4

i JUST saw that grease pink ladies show advertised on P+ for their ‘pride’ collection and now it’s getting deleted entirely :rip:

The way media can just be erased like this is scary

I mean, yes and no. Even before streaming there was several one-two season shows that have been lost to time because they never reached syndication

They said these four are the biggest of the batch with more titles to be announced so if you consider that show bigger than these four...

A bunch of them are streaming somewhere these days so the fact that they can survive elsewhere and not streamers own homegrown series is a weird marketing shift of late.

Physical media forever >>>> Streaming

Agreed. Everything about streaming is "just content". It takes a second to delete everything without commitment.

So that's why Queen of the Universe just released the rest of their episodes early :rip:. Imagine if they remove the entire series before the scheduled finale date :rip:

This. People need to stop sleeping on Prime. It’s literally the best streaming service. Their originals are excellent and no one can beat their catalog. They also get a lot of UK shows which I surprisingly enjoy a lot. It’s the one I watch the most and I pay for 4 different services

Wolf Pack was a hit for Paramount+, and their social comment sections are mostly people asking for a Wolf Pack renewal. Unlikely.

Not surprised with Pink Ladies, but cancelling it just a few weeks after it ended and ERASING it from the face of interent? Nasty.

I really think Paramount+ is going down and in the end they will end up licensing everything to the remaining streamers.

Hopefully P+ going down means Drag Race All Stars goes back to cable :jonnycat:
