It seems like such a slap in the face to the hard working cast and crew! yikes

Something related to them not paying royalties or something like that, since the shows would not be airing anywhere.

The way streaming services are making this a more common practice...  just to save some bucks. It is their fault, they all got greedy and these services starting to pop up everywhere. They really thought people would subscribe to all of them.

The thought of that would be scary. The general population doesn't want our history to be removed and erased and I can agree.

License them off to another streaming service.

They're almost done on production of season two of Star Trek: Prodigy ugh. Season one was such a pleasant surprise I am so pissed there's a possibility we'll never see season two...

Animation done dirty yet again. I'm still upset we probably won't ever see the second season of Pantheon.

Rumors of paramount going to Netflix seems to be true. Honestly good. We only need Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV as the new Big 3

I'm not surprised that QOTU is done because they dropped the last 4 episodes at once without prior announcement. But Paramount+ going a step further and pulling it from streaming during Pride Month is such a ***** move. These companies really don't have a single backbone :rip:

I unfortunately doubt that. The shows must not have been doing well enough so they'll probably see no reason to ship them to other services.

I understand that shows get cancelled but I really do not like this trend of them almost immediately being pulled off of streaming services. It feels like a slap in the face to everyone who worked on them.

And people laugh at my collection of CDs and Blu-Rays :biblio:

Disney+ still doesn't have Buzz's TV show or his first movie from 2000. You can't buy them.

Same for Oliver & Company, they stopped producing blu-ray for it so you have to hunt Amazon to find it.

And video games, how many were locked to ancient consoles?

Streaming is TRASH.

The Game will end up back on BET lmao. This is like the fourth time the show was canceled.

paramount is definitely going under. Licensing their shows to other streamers is the best option. It’s sad bc they’re actually a good service.

They specifically said they will shop their shows/licenses to non Paramount networks so until the BET sale is done, it can't go there.

They're merging with Showtime next week so this is part of that merger. For now.

Star Trek Prodigy is awesome :chick3:

Were you all buying physical DVDs for every show? :ahh:

Like, if something didn't air on TV before, you also didn't have access to it. It's the same thing :rip:

It’s finishing production and moving to another network.

I have bought dvds and blu rays for every show I stanned for as a kid and as an adult. I refuse to watch original shows on a streaming app like Netflix. unless it was a limited series or had a proper ending.

I wonder how much money their losing from Paramount+, the Paramount name isn't strong enough to maintain a whole streaming network.

It's so ******* sad to see creators' passion and hard work being erased just because it didn't make enough $$$ :skull: Just cancel them and keep them on the streaming service for fans who want to revisit or something, I don't understand the issue? Paramount+ is still the only streaming service I use, purely because of Survivor/Big Brother/Amazing Race, but jfc this is depressing to see.
