JLaw isn't chasing fame and did small indie movies like mother! and red sparrow. She's just enjoying her life while ScarJo is a laughing stock for stealing roles from PoC.

 

ScarJo is a perfect back up actress, but she's NOT a main star like Jennifer Lawrence.

2) She has 13 more movies as a leading actress (which is more than Anya current overall leading roles)

3) Lead a 4-movie franchise based of a successful book.

 

And yet their gap is only $80M avg. which we both know Anya would easily surpass (Super Mario 2 is inevitable and she’s hired for Max Mad spinoff) as her career is still very much alive, unlike Jlaw who’s basically begging for roles now. How are these facts?

I am surprised at how much Jennifer Lawrence gets related to Harvey Weinstein when they did one movie together (granted it was a big hit and the one that got her the Academy Award) but it's nowhere near to how much other actresses like Nicole, Meryl or Renée worked with him. Like, I'd understand more if she was criticized for working so much with David O. Russell (though, again, she's not the only one to work several times with him)

 

Second, her box office success during her peak extended beyond The Hunger Games, as her David O. Russell trilogy was able to be quite successful (even with Joy being basically marketed on her back). At a point where movie stars where kind of gone and star vehicles no longer a thing, Passengers was able to be created (even if it sucks) and it made twice its budget at the box office and that movie was created and marketed just because Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt were seen as the new movie stars. While Margot Robbie and Anya Taylor Joy are great actresses, they would not be able to get a big budget film that solely relied on them with no IP made. JLaw was truly the last MOVIE STAR, at least for now. The problem was that the tides turned against her as so many female celebrities go through

I'm shocked no one mentioned her nudes leaking along with a bunch of other A-list celebs at the time. Hers were the most talked about and I definitely noticed a switch in perception almost immediately after. It was a bit misogynistic imo. They went from "we love this innocent girlie" to "this woman needs to act like an adult"

and point 3 anya's avg is so high due to Mario bro's, take that out and she has no movie over 300m, jlaw at least has passangers and x men movies, without hunger games

Anya leading in Mad max spin-off isn’t “hypothetical”, it’s confirmed. Unlike Jlaw being in a marvel movie, which isn’t very profitable anymore 💀 Homegirl is so desperate she was basically begging to retrieve her role as katniss when the story has been long wrapped. Only 3 years of relevancy, and one memorable role, what a “career” 💀 even a movie with Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ariana Grande couldn’t revive her career. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see where their careers are heading
