Not everyone can be Margaret Atwood and extrapolate the source material to create additional episodes/seasons. Moriarty/Kelley/Kidman should know better after the disappointment that was Big Little Lies S2.

a second season was already in discussion as far back as May last year but i can definitely see The White Lotus being a factor in this decision

 

i actually loved the first season, even if it was messy but i have no idea what a a second season would look like. the cast is incredible though so..
