But someone here said that it’s getting „raw reviews” and the Queen of Cinema is back? Was it all a lie?

I remember it too. :rip: "Rave reviews for queen of rom coms".

A 58% is hardly "panned." It's 2 percentages away from being "fresh" on RT, which is a 60%. Also, it only has 31 reviews. Let's wait until we're at 100+ reviews.

As for MC, a 48 means mostly mixed reviews. And again, we're only at 15 reviews. Let's wait until we're closer to 50+ reviews.

Mostly mixed reviews does not mean panned.

This site does the most.

Do you mean rave reviews? I genuinely don't know what raw reviews are-- I'm not trying to be a grammar Nazi.

This is one of those times where it's probably ok to not trust the critics, as opposed to the times when Marvel/DC fanboys insist that critics are wrong when they malign superhero films. This movie looks like a dumb raunchy comedy and I have pretty good expectations as to what I'll get when I go see it. As long as I laugh and enjoy myself for the runtime, it will have been worth it.

A friend of mine saw it yesterday and said it was great. Have we considered the possibility that the critics might just be pressed?

She has to be the ultimate fad among actors.

It never looked that great anyways :katie: just a fun movie for entertainment

It’s not like romcoms are noted for their acclaim. Some of the iconic ones have had mid to bad reviews. Let’s see how the audience score and box office turn out.

You’re right. I don’t know why my phone „corrected” that word 💀

15 reviews is a lot. That’s a consensus.

Don't most if not all romcoms get bad critic reviews? who cares, it's probably going to be a lot of fun. I will be sat either way. :gayalipacat5:

Eh, romcoms are relatively immune to reviews. Audience reactions and interest matter much more for this kind of film.

It actually is not a lot of reviews for movies (on Metacritic). Movies typically receive 50+ reviews on Metacritic. If an album has 15 reviews, that's a bit of a different story considering album reviews usually hover between 20-30 reviews.

I'm looking forward to watching this.. most excited I've been for a romcom in years!

Romcoms notoriously have bad critic scores, some of the best romcoms of the 2000nds are panned by critics but audiences love them

Do romcoms ever get good reviews? I'm watching this regardless.
