Is the Eras Tour the most impactful concert in the last decade?

It’s not impact because that literally happens with every major tour ever. That’s why all these shows get approved. You can google any big tours and this same economic boost will show up. Tours drive tourism, that’s not a new concept.

No, not "every major tour" is bringing the business boom her tour is bringing :toofunny3: All of these cities are seeing hotel bookings unlike anything they've ever seen unless they've hosted the Super Bowl :toofunny3: Restaurants booked to capacity weeks in advance

Cincinnati just published an article that her tour is going to bring nearly $100 million in revenue to the city that otherwise wouldn't have happened. So no, not "every major tour" has this

Yes they all do. I just googled the 3 first touring artists that came to mind and

Ed Sheeran

Pink

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/369620/pink-concert-pumped-14m-into-dunedin-economy
Beyoncé

There is no doubt that Eras is very successful but it’s just another successful tour. Tourism and tours go hand in hand, it’s literally in the name :rip:

Yeah because a random cafe would be a place to go when you need to find economic impact. May you never get back.

Y’all sure know how to understand sarcasm

There’s no use arguing with that user, they’ll do mental gymnastics over every fact you provide them.

OT: maybe this decade since touring was dead all lockdown but not in the last 10 years, no

I'd say that if the Hive is working so hard and bending backwards to discredit everything that has been posted in this thread, there's a reason.

It's ok to accept that for once, Beyoncé is not the most impactful artist.

I haven’t even seen a single performance go viral in ANY of these stadium shows. Not one.  I’ve seen some glittery dresses and some big screens, but that’s not a performance. That’s a prop.

One of them. No one can deny how big this tour is.

Big doesn’t mean impact. Success is not = to impact.

Probably, yes.

But we need to stop acting like it's some super groundbreaking tour technology wise, or intensively creative. It's okay, it's long, it's extremely loved, it's ultra respected by local politicians, but the Renaissance tour is factually better, for example.

I'm still going tho lol.

It's really not better you're acting like having a moving robot is pushing technology when it does nothing groundbreaking.

I love how the beehives rushed into that Sweden thread hailing Ren tour as "Global impact". But when it's Taylor and multiple countries from multiple different continents, it's "just another succesful tour".

The mental gymnastics and goalpost moving, I- :ahh:

Its dumb denying Taylor's success and thus impact these days on the GP. Many clearly get her life from her and she's going to have the biggest female tour under her belt soon.

Do I get it? No. She's the epitome of averageness to me. She has zero appeal to me, zero likability, zero honesty. To think she rightfully can be compared to the Beatles at this point is beyond tragic imho, though seeing her success also in a way justifiable. To each their own.

If my "fellow waiters" (whatever you meant by that) don't know anything about this so called impact, was it really impactful outside this online music forum?

P!nk: $14 million

Ed: $9 million

Bey: No specific amount

Taylor in Cincinnati: $100 million

Why are you even bothering :deadbanana:
