New Edition Posted June 21, 2023 Share Posted June 21, 2023 Abby's New Podcast is called Leave it on the Dance Floor Some of the accusations she hurls at the Moms and their Kids are pretty wild and it's just episode 1 Christi/Chloe: - Chloe came when she was little and looked the part of the dancer but Abby could tell they were living beyond their means - Christi sued Abby so she can't say her or her kids names anymore but Abby doesn't care anymore and challenged Christi to sue her since she has nothing ("you can't get blood out of a stone") - Insinuated that Christi was upset seeing that Dance Moms continued even after she left in S4 and after hitting rock bottom either came crawling back or the producers asked her back but either way saw that everyone else was getting more famous and more money without her and wanted back in on S7 - Said once ALDC LA was established LA moms would come to her and spill tea on Christi because LA's a small place and they'd tell her that after S4, Christi was burning through managers and agents because they couldn't stand working with her Kelly/Brooke/Paige - Insinuated that Kelly was hitting on high school-aged boys when she was just 12/13 - Her dad named a neighborhood and street after she and her sister - Kelly called other people's kids ugly - Kelly never paid her bills on time and often forgot to pick her kids up from dance class so Abby had to drop them off - Abby thought she would be at Paige's wedding Nia/Holly - Said Holly basically cared more about work than Nia - Said Nia was starved for attention, didn't get it at home so tried to get it in dance class - Nia's grandpa was the one who took her to class so Abby was shocked that Holly wanted to do the show but Nia begged her - Gave Nia 'ethnic dances' because she felt that's what she was good at Melissa/Maddie/MacKenzie - Melissa acted like she only had Maddie as a daughter - Melissa's first husband Kurt was Abby's high school friend. They took Maddie to some other dance studio and then brought her to ALDC at age 5 and Abby was surprised she could keep up - Kurt thought Abby and dance was what broke up his marriage with Melissa because Melissa told him she spent all her time at the dance studio when really (according to Abby) she was sneaking around and having an affair with her current husband - Called Melissa a 'psycho' for pretending to be a good friend even being there when her mother died That's all I can remember from the podcast but it's already really scathing her moderator could barely reel her in Thoughts on these accusations and how long until one of the moms sues her? I don't know what it is about gay men (and I say that as one myself) and the appeal in being a subservient sycophant to the absolute worst women imaginable but here we are. He just agrees with everything she says and then apologizes when she snaps at him for changing the subject too fast. New Edition Posted June 28, 2023 Author Share Posted June 28, 2023 Episode 2 Cathy's first impressions of the OG Moms: Melissa was friendly but immediately told her Vivi-Anne (her daughter) shouldn't wear a skirt. Abby chimes in that Melissa will always have a friendly smile but ready to stab you in the back. Melissa was the only one who made an attempt to be nice to her though and celebrate her birthday. Cathy tries to say that the OG moms looked glamorous but Abby counters and says some of them were like putting "silk stockings on a pig". Christi pushed Cathy in S2 and was brawling with her on the curb and a red-head from Candy Apples Tanya had to take her off her. Christi apologized at the Teens/Kids Choice Awards later. There was a big fight after and that's how the original Candy Apples that were there before the show started left the studio. Both Cathy and Abby got kicked out of organizations because of the show but Cathy got back on Dance Masters of Ohio after like a decade. Chloe's suspension from Pink Lemonade Season 3 (when her hat dropped off) was actually because they wanted to go on vacation. Either that or Christi did something wrong and the mom was suspended but they producers wanted Abby to look bad suspending Chloe for other hat. The producers pushed Cathy into the room and basically forced her into a confrontation with Abby where she hit Abby with a bag and got water sprayed on her. She thought swatting her with a purse was part of the act. Abby filed a complaint with the police and got up in Cathy's mom's face (later apologized on the podcast). The network tried to make Nia do a dance where she's pregnant. Abby harps on the girls for calling Abby/the show "toxic" and even accused the kids of being snobbish after the reality show. Abby said at some point some Dance Moms girls were at the mall and were ******* towards some kids who were at ALDC LA just taking classes. Abby said they "looked at them like they were dirt." Cathy said Vivi was a champ about the whole thing. Cathy trashes Kendall: "Vivi's a different girl than Kendall than what I saw on social media. She's very humble, she's kind" and not catty. Then she walks it back. Abby said Jill probably told Kendall she was beautiful once an hour. Abby said she paid $27K to produce Mackenzie's It's a Girl Party. They had a 360 deal with her. Melissa pretended she didn't sign anything and then signed with someone else. And since then she's received her 27K back when the song went to #1 and then never received another penny. Andrew Logan, the director sued Melissa over it and he won something and isn't allowed to talk about it. Holly didn't want her kids going to Woodland Hills High School ("because they bus kids in from everywhere") despite their 50K budget for musical and a huge acting program. Nia could have been the star, says Abby, but they went Hollywood. Holly ruined her relationship with Nia.
