Starshine Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Implosion is definitely the best way to go pain free. Happened in milliseconds that they weren’t even aware.

greeneyedsoul Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) RIP to them. We would call what they did "kurčenje" here. They didn't deserve to die for it but rich people thinking their cheques are stronger than Mother Earth, will never fail to amaze me. Edited June 22, 2023 by greeneyedsoul
TaggedGalaxy Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 I doubt there’s much left of them to be recovered but at least the families will get closure
Sannie Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 The CEO/captain cut so many safety corners and it is insane. You would think he would want things to be super safe since he was going to be on board. What an idiot. They were so close to their target too so not only did they die, they died without seeing the Titanic.

rooby.booby Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) I have to say i made a few joke myself with my friends and laughed at some memes and videos. Why? The only answer i can give is because how can you be so stupid to go on that sub seeing so many red flags, starting with the logitech controller and the mention of death 4 times in the first page. Not sure a good enough reason to laugh about but i did it. On the other hand, this is so tragic. Rich or not, how can you say they deserve to die because they had money? The people saying this got major because of the rich people, lol no. It got big because of the stupid decision they made, the sub being a mess, all the messy details and of course the Titanic. RIP to them all and so sorry for the families. Edited June 22, 2023 by rooby.booby 3
Cottonmouth Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) It's just an all-round sad scenario. Going that deep can be very unforgiving. Very tragic. Edited June 22, 2023 by Cottonmouth

The cringe the US Coast Guard team must have felt when journalists kept asking when their bodies would be recovered...

Clearly, these people have also been misinformed about the condition of the sub. We sign countless waivers in our lifetime, most people don’t spend time reading them. 2

G.U.Y. Gaga Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Not to be a conspiracy theorist but I think that explosion had to have happened early on (within the 8hrs they didn’t report) right?
Sombre Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Memes are always gonna be funny, that's why they're called memes. But considering it's confirmed they literally imploded and died, it's distasteful to still laugh at memes imo. A 19yo son who only went to appease his dad literally lost his life. It's disheartening to see how people are so desensitized to death nowadays.

They don't know the exact timing, but they do know it was on Sunday because the sonar Canada deployed on Monday didn't catch any implosion sound.

I am not an expert on the story but I believe the implosion likely happened when they lost contact, so like an hour and 45 min after they submerged. Edited June 22, 2023 by Domination
