RunUpDoneUp Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Poor Joe, he must be taking it so hard, unlike trump he was involved in this one's life. Can't save a *expletive* who don't wanna be saved.
Sannie Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Accountability. And him getting a plea deal is what happens when you cooperate. Trump could learn a thing or two. MAGAs wanted him thrown in jail for life because his dad winning the 2020 election still has their feelings hurt.

And there's going to be a LOT of disinformation the next few weeks conflating this to the fake Burisma Giuliani conspiracies. They already have. Some numbskull on social media tried telling me that Hunter is getting off scotfree for a years long prison sentence despite it being a plea deal and under a Trump prosecutor. Like, if he actually did the crime, I support him doing the time but whew, the way he was projecting so much, I thought the subject in question was Trump.
Communion Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 (edited) The issue with Hunter Biden has always been the way his privilege is at odds with his petty criminality, not the kind of international scandal of corruption that Republicans have created in their head over him (and other Biden siblings like how right-wingers have convinced themselves Ashley Biden wrote in her diary that her father molested her). It's the jarring image of a man who can go on meth benders and fail upwards into soirées with foreign royalty where he's given gifts of emeralds and luxury by proximity of his name. Only someone as rich as a Biden can get caught driving or illegally possessing weapons while high or drunk and land in the sympathetic arms of rehab. It's made worse knowing that his father was one of the main architects of the modern criminal justice system as we know it, long advocating the view that drug addiction denoted being a deviant and that the solution was and has always been harsh punishment, not help - except for his own children. Joe Biden is lucky that most of those to his left are kind and empathetic to the suffering of having a loved one battling addiction, because such personal pain has largely been the only thing keeping discourse tactful and from people touching on this double standard, but silence won't erase the fact of how many people's lives have been destroyed for simply battling a disease as horrid as addiction due to the Joe Biden crime bill of 1994. My heart breaks for the president in that I too directly know the pain in watching drugs make someone you love turn into someone they're not. But that pain also makes me disgusted that Biden still thinks people should go to jail for something as comical as smoking weed. Hunter Biden is going to be fine. The people whose lives his father destroyed won't be. Edited June 24, 2023 by Communion 2

They plan on weakening partisan impeachments that were unable to pass in the Senate by expunging Trump’s impeachments, but then in the next breath they want to impeach everyone that is apart of the Biden administration. Even though they want to start a precedent that will allow the democrats the ability to expunge impeachments the next time they control the house. The whole thing seems counterintuitive
