In terms of gross I'm pretty sure Taylor will surpass them, but in terms of attendance they already have this in the bag.

And that’s with them not selling a ton of obstructed view seats :rip: they could easily put up a lot of side view seats and they would still sell out :dies:

Incredible band but their tour productions are overrated as **** lol. I'm perched though, I wanna see what they do.

Yeah attendance wise it will be biggest

Their prices are on cheaper side so I think both Bey and Tay will have bigger tour

I think the production is pretty top notch considering they are not a MPG. Either way the real appeal is the sense of community, roaring Viva la Vida with other 40k people is truly something special, it's one big party with your friends :gaycat5:

What does gender have to do with being able to put on a good production? They are an amazing band but they could easily have a better production / stage with the decades of experience they have. Even Maroon 5 has had better full blown productions than Coldplay. You can have a sense of community and still put effort into the technical aspect of your show, see the Taylor Swift handbook for how to do a stadium tour correctly.

Taylor is a bad example lmfao. Hers is overrated too. They should hire Jamie King to do a PROPER tour production wise. They are arguably the biggest ACTIVE band on the plant today in terms of numbers, production is so important to live music. I usually check out tour productions for the artists I dont stan, but am a fan of, to see if its worth it, especially the biggest acts in the world. If the production is ****, I don't bother going. I am SO tempted to go to the Enrique, Pitbull, Ricky tour, but... I know they don't give ANYTHING in terms of production so would it be worth it? Probably not lmao.

One needs big production, the other doesn’t. No one is leaving Coldplay complaining, it’s the most fun you’ll have at a show tbh.

Eh. Its giving Ed Sheeran - boring and uninspired. Like, just nothing. They dont dance or do anything but play instruments and sing live (Chris Martin obvs) but even Linkin Park used to go HAM live. The Prodigy too. I think Coldplays tour in 2012 was GREAT, thats the last time I remember seeing them, looked insanely good cause the stage production was MAD.

You might be right tbh. I just feel like their catalogue deserves something amazing.

I said MPG because they usually have the biggest productions, not really anything to do with gender. Coldplay could definitely try some new stage formats, screens, etc., but if some people already undermine their talent with the current production, imagine if they go over-the-top

I attended the show in 2018 or was it 2019? Tbh kinda overrated. Chris had amazing energy but the show overall was so boring.

You're probably thinking about 2016 or 2017. There were no shows in 2018 and 2019 was limited to very few, intimate venues.

i'm wondering why tiny singapore get 5 shows but other south east asian countries only get one show each :deadbanana2:they could do at least two shows each countries and sell it out easily

My rich friends in the Philippines prefer to fly to Singapore to watch concerts than watch it in our country. My friend said that concerts in Singapore are usually filled with rich kids from neighboring SEA countries. :deadbanana2: But yeah, they can easily fill up at least 3 shows in every SEA countries.

It’s kinda frustrating tho cause now Singaporeans have to compete with the foreigners for tickets. :rip:

I went to see them in both Curitiba shows and got front row in the first. Putting my phone down and deciding to record ASFOS in the following day was the best thing I ever did :worship2:
