Incoming “good for a ____ single :clap3:

I mean it’s really not bad. Doja isn’t a “top XYZ debut” artist anyways - all her singles are growers and serve longevity. Don’t think this will be the same case, but still

Good for a single that has no replay value According to Doja Cat herself

Her focus era

Inb4 her team cut it from the album and pop Doja comes back in September

Either let her go through this era quickly and then release a pop album next year like Rih from Rated R to Loud, or just simply put the pop singles next, get a double disc album, like Sasha Fierce. I can see this still working but the label needs to pull through with it, not giving up after the first sign of bad news.

they should go through the era IMO

1 buzz single + 1 focus single on album week/ month + 1 extra single if any song goes viral on TikTok

then move to the next era

The song has a catchy pop hook so i'm expecting some longevity.

Nothing is being cut.  Album is done, and she said it’s diverse and fun.  Includes both rapping and singing (hooks).

It’s giving Rated R to me.  Release a “deep” song first to intro concept….before dropping the bop that will save the album commercially.   (Rated R is my fav by Rihanna too, her most cohesive work, imo).

Other singles are already planned over next few weeks/months.

She just wanted to get her message across + introduce Scarlet concept w/ “Attention”.

Doja seems very much in control and back by the label, this is fantastic to see, can’t wait to see what comes next! (I also think Rated R is her best album)

Great to finally see some turnover in the Top 20. Gunna having 2 new entries in the Top 20 pretty much guarantees a #1 album.

Cruel Summer coming like a dark horse

Karma and Cruel Summer climbing! Anti-Hero holding strong too! Can’t wait for Enchanted to join in the fun soon :duca:

Hmm, I am the furthest thing from a Doja fan but this was easily her best song yet I think. I liked it a lot. If she continues down this path I may have to stan a bit, but it needs to do well…

Hopefully they can both enter at #19 and #20 :cm:

So if Last Night now leads Creepin by almost 8 million on MB AI & the gap keeps growing then why is LN 2 million behind in the above estimates?

Miguel needs to do something to go Top 10. Number 11 is such an ugly peak for this masterpiece.

This one has LN and Creepin even on airplay:

Yeah LN got good late week gains that didn't look likely earlier in the period. So later estimates will probably reflect these changes. I wonder if Fast Car's radio estimates are a little low too. FC passed Sure Thing on MB AI today but ST still has more airplay points in the predictions.

attention might not be a huge hit but i don't see it bombing as badly as people may have predicted.

its doing good on tik tok without doja having to lift a finger and now with the tour announcement

on twitter, attention might stick around for longer than anyone thought.
