chiliam Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 this is devastating for me. Cause Coldplay doing total 8 dates in SEA and total around 480k tickets and still cannot meet a fraction of the demands. When Taylor only annouce 4 Singapore dates, there`s no way i could get my hands on those tickets, concerts really become inaccessible.
Richie.Valdez Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Buying concert tickets has to be one of the most stressing experiences nowadays. Ot. I’d never buy a ticket for Coldplay because I just don’t see the appeal.. all their tours for the past 15 years are exactly the same formula.
MardinBeksloy Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I managed to got mine by started queuing an hour early. The presale to Taylor in Southeast Asia will be CRAZY
Eternal220 Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Thats like 1/5 of our population? How are they so popular
Cheers Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Why is it always a million people in line? I’m starting to think it’s PR from these artists No doubt Coldplay is huge and going to bring big numbers but still.
Ms. Togekiss Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 They have a long list of classics that I would love to see live. Particularly, I would die for a sky full of starts and yellow
AdamRiver96 Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) I’m from Singapore, and they’ve just added a 5th date on the 30th January. It’s insane. I worry for Eras Tour Edited June 19, 2023 by AdamRiver96

Because they are the biggest western band in Southeast Asia They are doing 5 shows there, the only other pop artist capable of doing that is Taylor Swift.

CatchIt Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 250k seats sold in a city of 5 million is insane. The fact that Coldplay decided to do 5 shows in Singapore but just 1 show in Malaysia (20m population) and Indonesia (273m population) is funny. They know that the Singapore dates will attract a stream of rich Malaysians and Indonesians to Singapore. My queue number was like 200k+ and I still managed to see many available tickets though…I think a lot of people that went in early struggled because of a ticketing bug

newaespa Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 I forgot the pre-sale was today and when i went in, it was 900k+ For some reason, they restart my queue number after a while, and it went over 1.2million

That country is built different..

AnonnonA Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Cannot imagine the madness when Taylor comes to Singapore - probably will be impossible for me to get tickets
UnusualBoy Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Honestly getting tickets for major artists is hell these days, take me back to the precovid days, pls.
