Weird pet peeves of yours?

Recommended Posts

Okay so I have several that I mostly keep to myself, because I'm aware that it might be weird/judgmental but we all have it nonetheless...

1. If someone isn't a morning person/doesn't have a daily routine in general. Idk why but this irks me :rip:

2. If someone NEVER exercises at all. I'm not a gym freak but if I can't take you for a run at least once a week because you wake up at 11....

being little spoon and being dry humped when your trying to sleep :skull:  only reason why I always prefer to be big spoon.

- people who don’t wave (say thank you) while driving.

- people who give long explanations, get to the point lol.

- people who talk, cough, and sneeze too close.

- paying a bill & the company sends you a new email/letter for next month’s amount has released.

People singing in the office. Even they do it silently, it’s still annoying.

1. People who ask for money. Im the type of person who wants it back as soon as I lend it out :deadbanana2:

2. People who base their entire personality off of who they’re dating :rip: I don’t want to hear about your partner ALL the time. And if I ask YOU a question, I don’t want them answering for you :rip:

3. People who act helpless with simple tasks.

4. More than one person talking at me at once

5. People who call me over something easily textable. It’s even more annoying when I decline the call and they call you again right afterwards :deadbanana2: I hate talking on the phone with people who have hella things going on in the background and they’re paying more attention to that than to me on the phone :deadbanana2:

1. If someone just pees and doesn’t wash their hands straight after.

2. If people bite/chew their fingernails (the bf does this, and he’s lucky I love him, but it’s an awful habit)

When someone speaks on my behalf without my consent, especially when it’s done in front of me; for example when I’m with a friend and we run into one of their associates and they ask ME a question and my friend interrupts and answers on my behalf, feels very intrusive and patronizing.

People who follow the herd. People who lack passion/aren’t intellectually curious. People who are often envious & experience FOMO. People who succumb to tribalist/black & white thinking & don’t see the world with nuance. People who don’t communicate transparently. People who project their worldview & values onto other people. People who can’t admit their faults. People who feel an urgent need to be everybody’s friend

  • People attempting to plan my day, on a whim. I absolutely despise this, unless I let someone know I'm free to do whatever.
  • In line with the above, people who disrupt my morning coffee. I will be one feisty lion, hear me roar. :oxygen2:
  • People complaining and whining about everything, give it a rest.
  • Someone smacking their food. :bloo:

I feel this!! When I make plans I need at least one day to mentally prepare myself bc honestly most of the time I cbf. Unless we're just chilling and seeing where the day takes us. Similarly, I do not like when people stop by my house unannounced bc now you've ruined my plans for the next hour while I keep you company.

One thing I really cannot stand is when girls/gays refer to me as 'girl' or use female pronouns to refer to me. Like yeah I'm not straight and might act feminine at times but I'm still a man, don't call me that **** :rip:

People that call me multiple times in a row during work hours for the most useless things.

Last week my sister did that to mention she'd found out she had a grey hair :biblio:

Right, and now I'll be doing everything today that I originally intended to do yesterday. :ace: I'm not on any type of rigid routine, or anything like that, but I like being able to follow through on the plans I've made for myself within the context of my work schedule and general free time. Oh, if someone stops by my house unannounced, I'm not answering the door. :michael: The only time I will is if it's someone I really like; the last time this happened I went out and had a great time playing pool. So, it's not always all bad.

And I agree with that second pet peeve of yours, especially on here. They'll whine about the usage of pronouns for their favorite celebrities but will actively have an issue with users not wanting to be called "sis," or "girl" on here. Like, make it make sense.

When people take ages to pick their food off the menu even after the waiter has already stopped by once or twice to take the order and also when they don't even really look at the menu and nonchalantly start conversations about random **** while we're supposed to be picking our damn food. ******* dumbass behavior and so many people do that.

Grown ass men who don't dry off their bodies IN the shower after they're done and step into bathroom still dripping wet, flooding the entire place. Then you step into cold puddles of water with your socks on. I've even dealt with them walking all over the apartment still soaking wet. Who tf raised you? If you were my child I would beat you. You're a ******* ADULT, what is wrong with you. Are you stupid? It's always the bisexual tops too, I don't know how straight women do it. Sending y'all love.
