You don’t have to lower your standards. Maybe you just need to be realistic. Guys tend to like guys that look similar to themselves.

Having high standards for yourself (as you should) and living above clouds and being arrogant are two different things but still divided by a thin line

So If you were to accept my recommendation, would be for you to be more open and lower your walls a little bit in to knowing new people, god knows you can fall for their laugh or the way they talk or how they treat other people

More than often is not all about the looks.

I've noticed, for whatever reason, gay guys tend to look for "perfection," or their definition of it. And that's why so many remain single and bitter in life, because of their unrealistically high standards. There are so many great guys out there who, unfortunately, get passed over for one donkey ass reason or another.

Let go of what you think you want and you may find everything you need.

Maybe you need to reconsider what it is you're looking for in a man? You're never going to find someone that checks all the boxes, humans are way too flawed.

He was really hot but I'd rather be single than have a clingy boyfriend

I guess but clingy after one hookup was a red flag

I had just gotten out of a relationship where it took forever to get rid of him so I was triggered
