AIEW is an underrated Kelly era. Honestly MLWSWY is my favorite Kelly song but it's a Dr Puke song that she hates so I feel guilty for it

That was more of a working title, I believe—the record planned for a 2006/2007 release was going to be called 'Fingerprints' before being scrapped and ultimately reworked into OOTB.

But yes, that original album would have been pop rock perfection.

This was a rather difficult round for me to write for, and I almost considered not submitting—before, during, and even after writing this piece. All I can hope for is that the message resonates, and it is considered a worthy conclusion to this trilogy I began with “First Place • Second Wind”. As primarily a spectator this season, I've enjoyed witnessing its energy, and know great things remain in Golden Hit's future. 🌸

She wants to analyze her love, is this a mistake right from the start?

 

Pink lips, sweet dreams in the starry sky

Bright dress, not fit for a life on the run

She’s royal and makes sure it always shows

A neat appearance means more than a shining throne

 

After all, it’s the first thing we see when our fates meet

After all, we’re always blind to what’s beneath

 

She knows it’s not going to last

Everything that’s happy must collapse

She’s paranoid from past experience

But there she goes, “He’s so mysterious”

 

How she lost her kingdom she refuses to tell

Yet she’s unburdened by the crush of her fairytale

Because her dreams of love excluded life on land

And she always hoped to touch a noble pirate’s hand

That’s an oxymoron she learned first hand

But contradictions exist, will this one go as planned?

 

After all, it’s the only way to sail the sea

After all, it’s the gateway to being free

 

She knows it’s not going to last

Everything that’s happy must collapse

She’s paranoid from past experience

But there she goes, “He’s so mysterious”

 

She wants an adventure, but wonders if she should retreat

He’s number four but still gives the thrill of the first three

Just like them, he promises to take her out to the sea

She understands he wants to rush into a happy ending

But she wants to experience it from the beginning

 

She knows it’s not going to last

Everything that’s happy must collapse

She’s paranoid from past experience

But there she goes, “He’s so mysterious”

 

He can tell it’s not her first time, because his stories don’t impress

She can tell it’s his first time, because he struggled taking off her dress

She held him close and asked, “Is this really what you want?”

He wasn’t sure what to say, she could feel the panic in his breath

It caught her off guard, is he the contradiction she craves?

 

She thinks this could last

Maybe this love won’t collapse

She suffers from experience

But this is a new type of mysterious

 

Fourth time’s the charm?

That’s an easy sell

Will this cause more harm?

Only time will tell

it should be “seasons of your love” not “seasons of you love”, and “I became a nomad” not “I became I nomad”.
