More Than A Melody Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Harry will most likely have the most weeks alone next week, and maybe rake in a few more. Mariah will eventually get the throne back though, since she charts in top ten for 4/5 weeks every year lol. Wham will likely pass him again in a few years too. This is the overall chart: Song Artist Year first entered chart Chart peak Total weeks in top 10 Consecutive weeks Reference "All I Want for Christmas Is You" Mariah Carey 1994 1 39 5 [8] "Last Christmas" Wham! 1984 1 36 7 [9] "I Believe" Frankie Laine 1953 1 35 35 [10] "As It Was" Harry Styles 2022 1 34 18 [11] "Someone You Loved" Lewis Capaldi 2018 1 31 20 [12] "Fairytale of New York" The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl 1987 2 29 5 [13] "Secret Love" Doris Day 1954 1 27 27 [14] "Calm Down" Rema 2022 3 25 23 [15] "Don't Start Now" Dua Lipa 2019 2 25 18 [16] "The Happy Wanderer" Obernkirchen Children's Choir 1954 2 24 22 [17] Harry will likely end up third overall (and no one will ever be above Mariah and Wham overall haha)
CaptainMusic Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Mariah will retake this record this year or next at the most Eventually she’ll have like a 100 weeks in the Top 10 unless they stop old songs from charting

BUT even after they pass him again, he'll probably be #3 overall for a long time. Another smash hit could come any second, but there hasn't been that many.
