Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice f/ Aqua - "Barbie World"

Except the real industry plants are the ones rapping about putting things on the floor. Latto’s label is clearly confused about the direction she should be headed in - she’s flopping on both the pop and rap formats since “Big Energy” and needed a Apple Music Payola fueled remix to save her career.

Ice Spice, on the other hand, actually gained traction from the GP long before she got these big name collabs. Her social media engagement is much bigger than Latto’s even in the early stages of her career and artistes are clamouring to work with her to boost their own profiles and not the other way round.

It's the way y'all know ZERO about the careers/come ups of anyone except Onika & the little clout girls she gathers now and then. :bibliahh:

Comical. Payola, plants, and sympathy = everyone except Onika. Good job on solving the mystery, sherlock.

Anyway. I hope this song is as good as PD(R).

Perfect follow up to PD(R)

Idk it sounds exactly like I thought it would… which isn’t bad, but it’s not really exciting at all so far

I wish people in the music industry would stop sampling huge old songs and forget trying to re-hash old music in order to try and "make it fresh".

The snippet doesn't sound good to me and the original is too big to try and sample.

Nicki already said tons of times she's been offered to sample it plenty of times and never did till it felt right, either get with or leave the thread! Goodnight!!

Sounds like a hit, but I don't wanna pull an Alone and hype up a snippet, only for the full to massively disappoint.

Seems like a common thing with 90% of the new female rappers. Meg suffered with that through most of her career and so did a lot of the new girls :coffee2:

Suffered... nah she still suffering from it. :fan:

The only girls with lyricism, creativity (and imagination) that isnt heavily tied to sex, and can rap as well or better than the old school rap girls are Flo Milli and Doechii.
