Not really a curse.. they pushed the hell out of the first 2 singles and they lost cuz of the biggest song ever of BB100. On the other hand, 250 points will be enough, or even 300 and they don’t do **** for weeks. Nothing. People can’t rebuy a song from 2019 and they are not promoting it, falling on playlists, not posting about it and not releasing anything new, so not a curse. A decision.

if she truly cared, it would've been #1 for the last two weeks. it's her choice not to do anything to push the song and who are we to tell her or her team what to do.

I don't think after summer it will fall hard just because it's not summer anymore. Yeah the title has a riference to the summer but it's not  a song about beaches, parties, ice creams and the sun.

It became viral in march and it grew up imo not because summer come but because the eras tour became week by week bigger and more impactful. The song would have exploded even with a september - december leg. 

And it's gonna do very well with the tour still going on for this reason.

I feel like a remix might be necessary after all... it looked like it was gonna get it organically but the #2 Lover curse is VERY strong and shouldn't be underestimated at this point

I'm thinking they're not doing anything on purpose. If she's gonna release a big collab single with 1989 TV in 2 months then CS still going strong would not be the best. Or there's nothing and she just doesn't care if this hits #1.

The song is a huge hit regardless. A cute tour video won't be the difference between her being overexposed or not
