That Oliver song had a much smaller increase (around 100k) so that’s a good sign. It barely outstreamed CS

it's just the start though it could easily do more

it started two days ago, it'll fall drastically by this Friday when nothing new happens.

@simmnfierzigcan you tell me how many points are 1M streams and 1M Al please?

1k sales = 1 point right?

I really dont know the current formula.

Dont think anyone uses exactly 1k sales as 1 point, but you can also set it up however you want. You could make Hot 100 predictions that have Cruel Summer currently at 7.000 points or something. That was always annoying when people were comparing points from different predictors or from me in different years. The points dont mean anything and I didnt care too much to make the average the same or anything when adjusting the formula.

And there are all sorts of different streams. Premium AM and Spotify, free Spotify, YouTube and even lower than YouTube Pandora

We don’t know that. It could gain 5M tomorrow or it could lose 500k. The point is smaller increases are more likely to point towards the song peaking than big increases

well if there's not major release next week, and if that viral song starts decreasing, I think she has a chance of getting #1 next week. we shall see.

We started this week with the prediction of #1 (+2)

And we end this week with a #4 (-1)

:bibliahh:

Must be the most dramatic chart tracking week in her whole career I'm not joking

I vividly remember the meltdowns with the lyrics videos being posted, the radio change etc... it was a moment to witness.

So guys we still won't have a chance next week? :(

No, she has a strong shot next week. Streaming will be stable, radio will probably be up a little since it hasn’t peaked on all formats - if she makes any moves that help boost sales a lot, then she could lock the number one. It all comes down to whether she does anything, whether Drake drops, and how well Rich Men holds. The latter is probably not even a huge threat next week, because it won’t have anywhere near her radio points and it won’t keep up the massive sales from this week.

Basically - how bad does she want it?

this was my thought. a couple remixes, a music video, and a live performance and it’s hers regardless of whether drake drops or not

How sure are we that Rich Men is going to drop next week? Aren't its sales very stable so far? I'm fearing a multi-week #1 :psyduck:

I'm starting to feel like she has something lover related up her sleeve.

Maybe something's happening for lover's 4th anniversary, hopefully a deluxe version with both aotylb and need as bonus tracks, and maybe a music video/tour video for cruel summer.

But i don't think it's happening this friday, bc next friday is closer to lover's anniversary than this friday.

Also her not posting about the end of the first US leg of the tour makes the situation even weirder.

She’s in a battle for #1 on the canadian 100 where the top 2 are pretty much tied

Cruel Summer - 32 Pts

Last Night - 32 Pts

while on the uk’s singles chart, the top 2 have been fighting for #1 and selling almost free physical copies and yet, she’s barely behind…

1 Dua Lipa - Dance the Night (24,402)
2 Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For? (22,433)
3 Olivia Rodrigo - vampire (20,716)
4 Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (18,708)
5 Olivia Rodrigo - bad idea right? *
