Yeah it definitely happening, Fast Car (live version) makes zero noise meanwhile the radio of CS is still increasing rapidly, and its sales is increasing too

The No.1 this week and next week (if Drake doesn't release) is on lock I think

Posted (edited)

this is an organic hit and doesnt need to hit #1, especially when it would just be a 1 week #1

that being said, i dont want another #2

I've been streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon music, and have listened to the 2 official audios from youtube. This better end up #1

We kinda need Autoplay rn

I'm really happy that Cruel Summer is likely to be #1. Pop excellence. Deserved.

The rise from an album track to a viral song to a forced single to a massive hit to #1, entirely organically, is really satisfying.

Still wishing we are getting a video soon. Even if Cruel Summer wasn't part of the plan, I really hope they treat it like a real single. Otherwise they deserve that Cruel Summer outshines any 1989 TV vault track like it did I Can See You.

Flowers is STILL top 3? :deadbanana4:

It’s so impressive that this years-old album track is slaying like this from demand ALONE.  Not from viral tiktoks or sped up versions or even a music video, just pure demand.

last week it even increased on a saturday...

And we are 150K streams higher than last Saturday. It’s still gaining week over week silly which is most important.

that'd be iconic if it went #1 without any push and then she dropped the music video/tour video to celebrate her tenth number one hit :deadbanana:

It would be 10x more iconic and impressive for this four year old album track to go #1 without any push other than sending to radio. For someone criticized for using manipulative tactics to get her songs up the charts, it would be the ultimate organic #1.

I think if it does hit #1, it will stay there at least two weeks

Her team must know something that we don’t. How are they so confident! However, the week over week gain on Spotify streams is extremely impressive this far in its chart run.

Plus we still have anniversary boost coming and also, if any, promo push from Ms Swift. Next show dates are still about 11 days away but that will give it additional global boost too. :dies:  The way this will eclipse 1B streams while still being really high is insane.

Is already number 4 on AM, also 35 on Spotify and I'm sure it's selling way more than CS... I don't know why but I'm scared of that thing, I know as of now it's not a "threat" but... there are more days to this week and this can be explode even more, only 250 points are enough for number 1.

Yes releasing a video would be super manipulative :gaycat6:
