ARTPØP Posted July 27, 2023 Share Posted July 27, 2023 (edited) I genuinely don't understand why people are freaking out about the song "stalling" -- it's still doing extremely well (especially for a 4 year old song with over 800M Spotify streams): It's still #7 on US Spotify getting about 1.2M daily streams, #16 on US Apple Music It's still #20 on US iTunes despite the ludicrous amount of versions of "Seven" are clogging the top 10 (#12 without the 8 other versions of "Seven") It's still getting massive radio updates between +0.900-1.5M daily with explosive spin increases. It's #3 on pop radio, gaining towards #1 and not far from #6 on overall radio. This week it was top 10 on all three official Billboard metrics: sales (#10), streaming (#6) & radio (#9) gaining on each. Not to mention it's also top 10 on the Hot 100 for the third week in a row. (top 20 run so far: 18 - 13 - 7 - 9 - 8 - ) I genuinely don't think there's anything to worry about -- I think some of yall need a chill pill! I'm really happy to see this song smashing. Lover is far from my favorite album from her (still decent lbr) but I'd prefer if it was remembered for having Lover and Cruel Summer than for ME! and The Man.
