Can’t believe She’s basically  sabotaging CS :rip:

She's not :celestial5:

The airplay gain was a bit smaller today, yeah. Probably because some stations gave curiosity spins to some Speak Now songs. That will be back to normal tomorrow

She moved it to #1 on TTH. It will be totally fine

She scrapped the probably planned full push for I Can See You because of Cruel Summer...

I was wondering if this is the case. Still, I wish she had time to do a Cruel Summer music video :chick3:

Knowing her work recent work ethic.... She probably finished it already. She might be recording "Midnights" follow-up at this point.

Should be #7 on the Hot 100 tomorrow, #6 next week, and top 5 the following :duca:

Idk if the song will peak much higher unless she releases a video, but amazing for a 4 year old single :swing:

We need music video, even an animation one like Save Your Tears is okay

Oh please, there's barely a 700k difference between both songs, it IS pretty close.

Save the music video for when it peaks on radio.  It still needs to increase a lot on streaming if it wants to flirt with #1.

A newly shot Music Video wouldn’t work, but a tour video would. It will peak on radio in August, the perfect time to release the tour music video (or tour performance video) after NA leg.

Exactly. I understand why people wanted it as the first single (or even as a single at all) back in 2019 but i really don't think it would've worked as well since the GP and radio were still wary of her. Now, in 2023, she's back at the top of the game, everyone loves her again so it's the perfect time for it to smash to its full potential. She actually made us a favor by not releasing it back then.

Both of you are right. The MV needs to drop at the OPTIMAL time (so when radio peaks sometime in August) and lets be real. Taylor is INCREDIBLY busy and hard working but we would have heard about a new mv being filmed kinda like with I Can See You (tho she did keep the Karma mv under wraps) but even thematically it would be cool for her to do a Eras Tour mv of her performing the song. This is the one time I actually think I would prefer a tour video lol. This tour is historic and Cruel Summer (a 4 year old song) coming to life in a tour based around celebrating her entire career is PERFECT. In addition, she could also commission a cute storyline animated MV for ppl who really dislike tour mvs. It would be easy to do as a bonus (and to provide even more longevity I suppose).
