After that, 33 was the standard (it's also where Sunflower and Girls Like You landed). It was only during the massive Covid-related industry stagnancy when songs would park themselves in the top 10 for longer. I have a good feeling Cruel Summer will hold the solo female record for a good while 4
Clauss Posted March 15 Posted March 15 This song run has been a rollercoaster I was so excited to see it fly to the top 10 for it to just stagnate there Then the multiple troll predictions of CS fighting for #1 for it to be #4 to #6 The acceptance of it not being #1 and being ok with it Movie making wonders and pushing it to #1 Taylormania to push IION? to #1 replacing herself Christmas to kill the momentum this had on radio Back on January to many weeks at #2 Until march to leave the top 10 It's has been so good to see you fight CS, I never thought this would happen It was always destined to be a smash, its soo good, the quality is above the clouds Lover can rest in peace 4
kayliah Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Thanks for saving the lover era Smash Summer. You brought back Lover to life on charts worldwide, secured a NO 1 hit on the HOT 100 and became the best selling album of 2019 worldwide outdoing WWFAWDWG.

LostInStereo100 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 It's been gaining for a week straight but today biggest update since it's been going positive
Feanor Posted March 24 Posted March 24 "Cruel Summer"Spotify streams on the 2nd to last Saturday of… ---- 2023 ---- Jul. 4.52M Aug. 5.08M Sep.: 4.60M Oct.: 5.03M Nov.: 4.45M Dec.: 3.83M ---- 2024 ---- Jan.: 4.48M Feb.: 4.94M Mar.: 4.52M If Europe comes through during the tour, this could remain in the 4M range till the end of this summer, which would be… insane. 1
DevilsRollTheDice Posted March 25 Posted March 25 AND IT'S NEW…THE SHAPE OF YOUR 34th TOP 10 WEEK IT'S BLUE 1
kayliah Posted March 25 Posted March 25 damn 34 weeks in the top 10. You go Taylor... loving this success for you so far into your career when your music is that good you deserve the world.
LostInStereo100 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The way I sarcastically said it would hit 2B the day TTPD drops and the fact that it will actually be really close Obviously it will be above 2B by the time the album drops but only a couple days at the most
AlBeRtX Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I really wanna know how many point does she have on billboard. Did it passed Anti-hero?
penguintim Posted April 9 Posted April 9 So with 2 weeks left before TTPD it's presumably gonna tie Shake It Off/You Belong With me... do we think it could surpass them, or will the the album bomb push it into going recurrent?
LostInStereo100 Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Are you all ready for this to start smashing next week? Its streams haven't fallen too much yet which is a good baseline for the Incoming boosts from summer approaching and Taylormania starting up next week in all of Europe Plus it's already healthily over 2B streams now 1
Mr. Duff Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I'm concerned for the BB Hot 100. Will it be pushed to recurrency by the TTPD tracks? Some of the tracks have held up well in the US.

I want Lover to take Midnights record for most weeks in the BB200 top 10.

Yes, Cruel Summer has passed Anti-Hero. However, it is hard to determine how many points Cruel Summer actually has. I'm anticipating the multiplier will be increased to account for the quicker turnover for 2024. The question is will the multiplier start at the beginning of the charting year (the October 28, 2023 chart, which coincides with the first week of Cruel Summer's run at #1) or the beginning of the calendar year (the January 6, 2024 chart). Also, will the multiplier be increased to 0.7, 0.75, or even 0.8 The increase in mulitplier will definitely help CS. Depending on the change, it's possible that CS has already passed Shake It Off.
I'm JAVIng Fun Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I think this song will last 54 weeks since Billie's album is coming out Also, I can't believe e this hit #1 in my country twice over 7 months apart
Taylor fanboy Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Smash! The droplet official single of the EP, The Cruelest Summer, did that! 1
