Tired of her ass… she should’ve listened to her fans, the GP, Olivia, everyone else and there mother 4 years ago :toofunny3: but no, instead we got “Spelling is fun!!1” :biblio:

She had to take the humiliating L to learn from her mistakes!

She finally woke up!

So she has two eras going on simultaneously. We love to see it.

Three, Speak Now TV is out in less than a month.

Curious how far this song can go without them to do any actual promo for it. Crazy if it can go all summer.

It's smart to get this on radio while it's heating up on streaming (especially during the summer in the US), but this will probably eat up Karma's run if it starts to take off. However, Taylor has recently had the singles from Midnights do well simultaneously, so it's possible for both to do well... :celestial5:

They better make it a single! Especially with radio onboard.

I love a risk taker

the real lead single of Lover is here :jonny3:

the way had she released this as the lead in 2019 it would've been my top 5 most played song that year cause i went thru an actual cruel summer in 2019

Im not a fan of this song but a good video would change my thoughts about this one even if its an animated one :eli:

Taylor listen to your fans.

honestlay if this was released as a single back in late 2019/2020 it wouldn’t have smash as much as it possibly could now

What does this mean exactly

nothing. radio programmers can see it on their app/website stuff and play it if they want to. that's it. it does not merit a single thread

love the Cruel Summer smashing but the LAST thing she needs is another single right now. we need at least 2 weeks to catch our breath before Speak Now era :jonny3:

To be fair, it's seems kind of unlikely that anything from SNTV is going to be pushed to pop radio, and Anti-Hero is dying on radio finally. Karma and CS at the same time wouldn't really be too much at once, at least on pop formats, if Republic decided to service it and make an effort - she probably wouldn't do anything else like a video, so it wouldn't take attention from whatever SNTV tracks get a video and are potentially pushed to some radio formats. It's still a lot to have going on at once, but doable for her.

I hear this all the time on the radio already

like you say it's possible but i still think it's a bad business move. the GP have been given so many singles and headlines (and albums) from Taylor Swift and she recently got bad press. the average person may not care but if the internet decides to dislike her again they have a lot of power to change the narrative like they did in Rep era. instead of 'perfect pop song finally goes top 10' it would be 'omg white mediocrity succeeds once again!111!'

i personally like the vault tracks and want her to fully push one of them like ATW. both TVs had radio songs so it seems likely that she'll do it again.

And they would be laughed off the internet as Cruel Summer is the farthest thing from mediocre. It’s like Blank Space, even OTHs have to admit it’s amazing :giraffe:

LMAO. Taylor and her team have been ignoring this song for four years but it's so powerful that it's now Top 50 with no promo? Give it up and give us what we want. Millions of other artists wish they could have this organic hit to ignore. 😂

I mean, I’m honestly extremely surprised they haven’t jumped on this by now. The only reason they wouldn’t is if there’s some surprise video/merch dropping as a surprise to shoot the song to #1, but that doesn’t seem likely.

This has the makings of another GP driven hit for her, I wouldn’t pass it up.

Capital in the UK have been playing this a lot in the last week. I have never heard them play an album track before.

And without ME!, YNTCM, Paper Rings, The Man, INTHAF and IFTYE!

I doubt we'll get a video for this... But if this gets (officially) sent to radio, it would be a nice little treat.
