Edge Of Glory Posted January 21 Posted January 21 27 minutes ago, Kasix said: Thx for the explanation, why do you think she doesn’t send to more formats? the only other format she'd probably do well on would be rhythmic, and that'd be a big maybe - she's only had one top 10 on the format (bad blood @ #6), and her last entry was during rep. even with taylormania last year, none of the midnights singles nor CS managed to go top 40 there.
AlBeRtX Posted January 21 Posted January 21 The only way to charting on rhythmic for her is with a remix with someone strong on that format, like bad blood with kendry Lamar. In fact, I think karma got some spin with Ice, but she is still to weak to push higher.

Of course it will bill 2B... Just wait for the insane Europe leg starting in May. It will explode again. This song is just some other level of a hit.
AlBeRtX Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I mean.. She needs only less than 100 days to hit 2B. At this rate She'll hit the 3B mark before the tour ends. 2 1

Ms. Togekiss Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Cruel Summer is at 741k points on the GOAT list as of 1/27/24. If the #2 prediction for 2/3/24 holds, it will go up to 769k (+ 28.4K), surpassing both Blank Space and You Belong With Me 4 1

It's 6 weeks top 10 or like 3 weeks top 10+6 weeks top 20, and that seems pretty ******* likely 5

I need this to happen so she can have the biggest female solo hit Spoiler I’m greedy I want it to hit 1M points but that’s still 250k points away 1

LostInStereo100 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 This is easily her biggest song of all time. I don’t know why people don’t see that 2

HAC and AC are worth what, 30 million AI between the two of them, and there's no way Cruel Summer's spins will drop to zero on Pop. It might be starting its descent, but it'll probably spend at least a few weeks in the3-6 range, and then a few more in the 7-10 range before HAC/AC start dropping it. Plus, it seemed that the LatAm shows did have spark some degree of streaming boost in the US (probably just from TikTok exposure, I guess), so the tour starting up again should get us a few hundred thousand more US streams/week, which will also have a cushioning effect. I imagine it's only got 1-2 weeks left in the top 3 after next week, but I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll stay top 10 at least through March.
Migs30283 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I guess Cruel Summer is going to pass Bliding Lights for most weeks at number one in Adult Top 40 with 21 weeks this weekend.
PurrKaty Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Where is this song in terms of her biggest? Has it passed LS,YBWM,SIO,BS,AH or is it close to passing these?

pride4jc1222 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 It's been a while since I've read this thread but I did not expect the music video demands to continue lol. This is basically a recurrent song at this point, let it go. I think some people also haven't realized a mininal Youtube bump from some tour video isn't gonna do much anymore. It's already huge.

Agree with this. At this point a video won't do much for the song. It's already dropping fast on pop radio. The song already went to #1, so we should all be happy x 1
