it's been really fun watching this masterpiece grow into the smash we all knew it was from the first listen back in august 2019 

 

also... while she stopped needing to prove anything anymore for years now, I've been wishing for awhile for her to get an effortless kind of smash that really gets the gp hooked, be considered "cool" and becomes somewhat of a staple that you could hear everywhere (yes she got several but this was very different especially that it happened during this new WW peak), and I'm in disbelief that she managed to achieve it in the most effortless and insane way possible, with the epitome of a Swifitian classic where she neither had to dumb it down and sacrifice her artistry and identity or go above and beyond to get it to smash.

"chart wise" this may have been the last goal for her to achieve and she killed it without trying and it's been amazing to witness.

i saw it this morning and i thought is this new or was it just posted on her channel prefer the short version though

 

OT: the longevity this song has on streaming and radio is ridiculous its still at the very top of the radio on multiple formats after so many weeks and it has been stabilised around 4m streams for forever
