IBeMe Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Yeah there's a good chance Cruel Summer will block Slvt! or whatever is pushed as a single or as a promo track
By the Water Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 I wouldn’t be surprised to see this chart for a year or more 1
Arrows Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Am I a fool to think this could smash all throughout next year too? It could pull an Anti-Hero where it stays #1 until Christmas and then returns in January like every pre-Christmas #1 has done for years now. With the tour picking up again and a potential video in spring… This could have some serious legs 1

With the tour picking up again and a potential video in spring… This could have some serious legs I would agree with this potentially happening ESPECIALLY if she randomly decides to give us the performance video like the week after the end of the Xmas freeze! it would jolt right back to #1 for another two weeks like Anti Hero did 1
cruelhprince Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Cruel Summer succesfully blocking any chances of 1989 TV and Speak Now getting hits with staying power would be a kii. I doubt in 1989's case tho

From the US Airplay thread: 2 hours ago, Ger-55 said: It seems to be a major Mediabase panel update: formats adding more stations (lots of spincreases on Pop, HAC, Rhythmic), but at the same time, audience calibrations across the board. Bad year for radio in general, big audience loss on Urban especially. cruelhprince Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 this being #1 on TTH when SN TV got released and now when 1989 TV got released 4

Maroonx Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 I have a feeling this will have a drop on tomorrow's radio update... Today all the iHeart Radios (i presume) will be playing 1989 TV tracks... In the couple of hrs I listened to the radio today, I heard 3 1989 TV and no 'Cruel Summer'

Klein Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Cruel Summer must have taken a toll on pop radio seeing the updates of the vault tracks.
