Maroonx Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 yoll are putting so much faith in a 1989 TV song hitting #1, and here I am thinking it will give 'Cruel Summer' another boast and we will have CS be #1 that week as well... mark my words 1 4
HappierJealousy Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Guys we need to save our money for next week, Jungkook’s new songs isn’t smashing on every download platform which mean his fans is not going push it, so CS’s second week is basically confirmed. Now we only have one goal: block the lead single of 1939TV and give it the third week on top are you guys really to push it next week, our real enemy “****!” is coming 4

rejovanation Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 (edited) i'm THRILLED to see that CS will become her 10th number one. WHAT A RIDE! i haven't been so invested in chart movement since stanning for Rihanna before her semi-retirement from music. anw, i'm happy with CS spending 2 weeks on the top of the charts before 1989TV takes over. i would love to have Taylor earning her 11th number one with "S!ut!" to extend the legacy of 1989. also clowning for a surprise remix album for 1989TV to be released in the following weeks. would be cool to have Style (Remix) to be her 12th number one. I’m sorry but this thread was made for Cruel Summer. Any support for any other song is banned I fear We’re rooting and only rooting for the global smash hit Cruel Summer! 2
Ms. Togekiss Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Inb4 cruel smasha blocks the 1989 TV single
fridayteenage Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 she can always 'accidentally' remove versions of the song from certain services. like what happened with what would have been right round's last week on top. 1

woohoo Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 When I tell you Taylor better never ever put us through this again. I had given up hope after the middle of September and here she comes TWO days before the tracking week ended. My anxiety can’t handle another chart ride like this.

And somehow she made it work and not just sneak a week at #1, but likely get 2 weeks at #1. Truly such a mastermind. 3

PurrKaty Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Cruel Summer is about to avenge ME! and YNTCD. It’s gonna block Snooze, IDGAF, and Sl*t! from going #1.

Edge Of Glory Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 can you believe 2 months ago, we thought it was JOEVER for this song bc she didnt do anything the week of lover's anniversary, and now here we are #1 on lock with a 2nd week at #1 + self-replacement with 1989 vault single incredibly likely 10 weeks at the top of pop radio, her longest reign by far, only being interrupted by like 4 songs that have climbed to the top and proceeded to collapse while CS still thrives and it could still get another depending on if it still stays stable and PTTR tumbles managing to already sneak a peak at #1 on overall radio, and its super likely it'll get at least 1/2 more weeks there now with its only competition PTTR being a decent bit behind getting its BEST day on streaming 4 months into its single run, when its already at 1.2 billion streams like LITERALLY the only thing that could make this whole situation better is if she releases an actual video for this, but even then, what its done with little push other than the EP is so insane and DESERVED 4
ManDown Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Cruel Summer being the Halloween #1 of 2023 is the plot twist we all deserve. 2
HappierJealousy Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 If she released the music movie after the 1989TV debut week, it will basically be #1 until Mariah take over 1
