hungrymuffin Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 im glad it peaks at #3 now i just hope it can stay in top 10 for 5-10 more weeks
Nashe Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 it's not l'over until Scotty is in jail the fat woman sings !!! drop a remix, drop a tour video. c'mon gwarlie, this would be the best #1 song in AGES!
cruelhprince Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 it pisses me off that this is just another song of hers that should've been a #1 (along with her 8 #2s) and she would be way closer to the record of most Hot 100 #1s :/
on the line Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Happy it didn't go to no.1. Cruel Summer has always felt like my own secret, favorite song, and I'd like to keep it that way (in my head anyway).

PurrKaty Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 (edited) I guess #3 is the peak, but amazing run regardless Edited August 22, 2023 by PurrKaty
Theluckyone Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Actually if CS holds steady on radio, and if the Drake single is frontloaded and does not hold strong, and if the current MAGA #1 hit starts to fall and if fast car peaks and then drop, CS technically has a chance at #1 even in the next few weeks right? It may not be over. Taylor just has to release a MV / tour video and post about it. Or perhaps when she performs in Mexico, it would get people hyped again and CS streams will increase again.

chiliam Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) The most surprising about this run is how`s global it is, consider the tour is just the US leg, but it`s stream distribution is so global. If it wasnt for the streaming farms of JK, the song would be #1 on Global Spotify for so many days. If only she is more local than we already have that #1 on BB100. LiamVillain Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 Okay Cruel Summer you did a great job too bad Taylor Swift hates you, you're still a global hit tho

I still can’t believe it’s about to eclipse 1B while maintaining daily 4.5-5 million streams It’s coming FAST for her biggest songs
