it's not l'over until Scotty is in jail the fat woman sings !!! drop a remix, drop a tour video. c'mon gwarlie, this would be the best #1 song in AGES!

Posted

it pisses me off that this is just another song of hers that should've been a #1 (along with her 8 #2s) and she would be way closer to the record of most Hot 100 #1s :/

Posted

Happy it didn't go to no.1.

Cruel Summer has always felt like my own secret, favorite song, and I'd like to keep it that way (in my head anyway).

Actually if CS holds steady on radio, and if the Drake single is frontloaded and does not hold strong, and if the current MAGA #1 hit starts to fall and if fast car peaks and then drop, CS technically has a chance at #1 even in the next few weeks right? It may not be over. Taylor just has to release a MV / tour video and post about it. Or perhaps when she performs in Mexico, it would get people hyped again and CS streams will increase again.

The most surprising about this run is how`s global it is, consider the tour is just the US leg, but it`s stream distribution is so global. If it wasnt for the streaming farms of JK, the song would be #1 on Global Spotify for so many days.

If only she is more local than we already have that #1 on BB100.

the song peaked in the US but it could still rise a bit globally over the next few days with the eras tour mexico dates
it received over 300k tiktoks in 3 days, top 5 on AM Global, top 2 on Spotify Global (#14 and #5 respectively in the US)

Yup her discography is surging again on Apple Music global I saw just cause her Mexico dates are approaching :dies:

hopefully something viral happens for CS. I still can’t believe it’s about to eclipse 1B while maintaining daily 4.5-5 million streams :dies:  It’s coming FAST for her biggest songs

Can't wait for Foro Sol shows.

More local she would be doing 3M daily streams and not 5M :celestial5:

#1 increasing :bibliahh:

#3 is really a fair peak :celestial5:

Streaming and radio is both very stable, but it really didnt get high enough in either to make a #1 or #2 much more realistic

And 17 #1s and 0 #2s or something close would be insane :dies:

How do they know Rich Men is selling over 100k again? Did chartdata or Billboard report something?
