I’ve been reaaaally enjoying this album since Friday, I don’t get the outrage 

 

I guess the problem is it kinda lacks clear highlights but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, I like how cohesive it feels. I just keep playing it from start to finish.

OMG same... I try to play just one song and end up playing everything it's kinda insane lol I never had this happen to me with any album before... It feels very cohesive and like an album you listen to all day instead of having a few super catchy highlights

I said this too way earlier, the album should have been 10-12 of the strongest tracks. People don't have attention spans anymore.

As a former stan, but still a big fan, this album does not deserve the lashings.   It really reminds me of a mix of her old stuff and her trying to keep up with the current music scene, for better or for worse sometimes  

 

We could’ve been just fine without Cowgirl, RNB, Pink Bday, PF Girls, and honestly, even SFG and AYGA   That would’ve made the album much stronger.

I obviously appreciate the lyrics and sentiment on the intro, and it’s such a personal song I can’t imagine how she felt in the booth  but the sample lowkey ruins everything for me 

 

Blessings, Falling 4 U, FTCU, Bahm Bahm, and Big Difference are my top 5. 
Everybody and Needle are growers

I don’t understand the no highlight argument when Big Difference and FTCU (minus the meg line) are right there. I hope this is a closing chapter for her pop rap Pink Friday days and she comes back with a new project with hard beats boastin her ****. Even if it’s a mixtape…

 

This hard rapping just fits her like a glove and she excels at that rather than on the singing and pop rap tracks. I understand she had to bring this balance to become the most successful rapper ever and have longevity in the pop charts, but it’s time to let go. It’s the downside of her gigantic fame
