You need your ears checked. oh let's not attack Renaissance, miss heavyonit. Renaissance is very cohesive, the only outliers being Church Girl & Plastic Off The Sofa, but even then those songs perfectly fit thanks to their immaculate transitions.
Apostolis Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 why do we need to drag other artists to prove a point
BlueBlue Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 She always made me worry about her albums And after all she is always delivering quality Truly queen of rap 2 1
Monkey_Juice Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Nicki peaked creatively a long time ago tbh Queen >>>>

One song melts into the other through well-placed transitions, new thematic/sonic suites, and smart beat switches. Nicki has been working on this album since "Megatron" and came up with a playlist of trendy sounds with Coi Leray-level sampling? Your girl needs her ears checked. Just admit you don't like Nicki and that's your real excuse so you can move on 1

Not attacking it, it's a mess IMO but it works

I don’t need every album to be a deep artistic statement. I’m taking this album for what it is. I wish people didn’t always take their music so seriously. Her and her fans put a target on her back when they were sharing Renaissance leaks on Stationhead, calling songs trashy, and tweeting the same night that singers need to stop rapping. I remember her stating on Twitter late last week that this album would change the game, not knowing she meant taking virtually an entire Billie Eilish song, pitching it up, and not crediting Billie herself was her form of art. She put herself in those conversations, and failed mightily. This album can't even stand alongside its' namesake. 1 3
Sergi91 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I thought it was going to be release next week
Breathe On Moi Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 omg the BASE in BEEP BEEP and BHAM BHAM in the CAR WIG!

Just because an album isn't cohesive doesn't mean its bad. ARTPOP is possibly my favorite Gaga album and it is an absolute trainwreck, and I love it for that.

No one cares about your grievances.

Motivation93 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Even Nicki herself said she doesn’t like Queen lmao

XxxKatyCatxxX Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Bops, bops and more bops and bops on top of bops. She did that.
Flare Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 This album is cohesive. Like a couple tracks too long but yes cohesive. IDK why Reni is being brought up because to me it got rewarded because Bey took a risk sound wise that paid off not because it was some super cohesive act of genius. NOW Broke with Expensive taste was true artistry. Not many albums are touching that so it’s not fair to bring up here. This is a good Nicki album for 2023. Like, she could have fallen off and this shows she has a lot more to give. With how much she uses twitter and internalizes all negative critique, she seems completely immune to the daily chatter which a lot of artists cannot do and it’s why you don’t see celebs using twitter, and fully curated Instagram pages (sza and selena always doing social media breaks and deleting their pages 💀). I still think though, Pink Print was her best album. If that album came out now, everyone would be bowing and giving her 10s. 2
Jai Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Wishing all the success to this, but I'm not feeling it as much as I thought I would. Giving more Queen 2 than PF2 as a whole and I wasn't crazy about Queen. Maybe I need more time....
