I honestly haven't had a Nicki phase in a long time but I'm listening to all her old stuff and feeling really nostalgic, especially for the Pink Friday-Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded Eras. I really hope she honors that time well with this album for using the Pink Friday name. 

 

The Roman tracks especially are just... insanely good. Roman's Revenge and Roman Holiday are manage to simultaneously be absolutely bonkers and ridiculous yet incredible and impressive. She really let go on those songs and just completely committed to the bit. Honestly, and I say this as a Gaga stan (and sometimes, a Nicki hater when she act problematic I'll admit), she achieved a level of strangeness in such high quality that Gaga always seemed to be going for but never quite reached. Probably because Gaga took herself more seriously and couldn't let herself have that kind of fun. But that Roman Holiday grammy performance is more shocking and draw-dropping than a meat dress, IMO. 

 

Hope that Nicki comes back even for just a moment on Pink Friday 2. I need Martha Zolanski to come back
