Did You Know This Labor Law Existed?

I saw a Tik Tok about this law and thought it could be helpful to share.

 

WARN notices were put into law in the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988. Essentially, most employers in the US have to publish WARN notices at least 60 days prior to mass layoffs (over 100 people). You can simply search WARN notice (state name) to find a .gov website that’ll show you a list of places laying off employees.
