joanabt Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Speak Now is a highly anticipated album and its announcement broke all expectations. It already has 10.3M likes on instagram, MORE THAN MIDNIGHTS (8M) and way more than Red TV (4M). If only all the people who liked it listen to whole album, she would do 170M streams i don't want to be that optimistic tho. It also has 60M impressions on Twitter. Anyways, i think it's safe to say that it will outdebut Red TV, the anticipation is insane and The Eras Tour has given it a lot of momentum. I doubt if it will surpass Midnights, that would be insane, but she has proved she is capable of the impossible hahaha. What do you think?
NumbSoul Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I think it will do better than the previous TVs, but not better than Midnights.
idkwiam Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Just now, IBeMe said: I think it will do anywhere between 500k to 700k I think 700k-800k tbh. 500k seems very low.
legendlavigne Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I think it'll do 800k-875k, which is unreal for a re-record. But then again it's Taylor so 1M is not off the table.
Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 It would but I fear Olivia will still be dominating the charts all Summer 2
Holiest Dreams Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I'm guessing 700K-1M but of course it won't come close to Midnights.
Kiss It Better Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 if it actually does 800k+ then 1989 or rep or both might get 1M i fear
thetea Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 it's never going to surpass midnights in first week sales, possibly red though. the hype for it is insane, especially with how much the tour is boosting her streaming stats
joanabt Posted June 4, 2023 Author Posted June 4, 2023 it won't outdebut Midnights in terms of sales, but it will come very close to it in terms of streams. possibly between 140-150M? don't want to jinx it but that's my guess
queenoftheclouds Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I will sell 1 copy and that's Taylor herself buying that album
youreyesgocold Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 I think you all are setting her up… maybe I’m just being pessimistic but I feel like it will debut between Fearless TV and Red TV, only beating Fearless because vinyls are there for release week. SN is a fan fave but in terms of gp appeal, it doesn’t have many remembered hits. There’s a reason why the only song from it that made the eras setlist is one that went viral recently. I don’t think she has many people in the gp who are perched to check in. As the resident Haunted stan, I sincerely hope it exceeds my expectations but I’m just trying to be realistic 4
Badgalbriel Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Girls..... She's not doing more than 500k for SNTV. What the heck? 1

For whatever reason, the GP seems to have been tuning out the new music after the Morgan Wallen album release, and are instead content with streaming years-old songs like Sunflower and Heat Waves.
Tusk Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Did the other TVs have iTunes pre orders? It’s not up for that yet. I think she still does well on iTunes.
vale9001 Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Red definitely cause vinyls Sales are growing up and growing up. What for Red TV was a record breaking first week of sales in the format Is now what can make a new edition of folklore. But should be less streamed (also because 8 tracks less make a big difference).
Steve Johnson Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 This setup. It's not going to debut with more than 400k. 1
