I'm pretty sure it's a digital release only.

Finally was able to complete the game couple of days ago! This was amazing, totally worth money and time. I can't wait for the DLC to come.

I completed this today as I didn’t want to rush through it and it was 100% worth the wait. I’ll definitely be replaying it at some point as I never used the ‘switch reality’ prompts and would just wait for the game to make me switch between Saga and Alan, so I’d like to see the narrative flow differently. I can also tell I’ve missed a ton of things, so now that I know what I have to do, I’ll explore more than I did on my first play through.

There’s so much to talk about regarding the storyline, but it really is something special. They’re working on a New Game+ mode with a twist as it’s apparently going to be more of a directors cut, so I’m intrigued to see how different that is. Hopefully it comes soon as I’m already itching to replay.

I’m also going to buy Control and give that a play at some point, which I might actually do before replaying AW2 as then I’ll be able to look for Control Easter Eggs. I assume we’re getting an AW3 at some point down the road, but I also don’t know what they’re planning to do with Control 2. Roll on the AW2 DLC!

I've never played the first game kinda wondering if I should after finishing this, I've heard mixed things. I've played Control and had a blast but ngl I gave up trying to figure out the story but with this I'm fully immersed, when playing as Saga I feel like a detective, I love the idea putting all the evidence together. The atmosphere, the graphics are absolutely insane, its scary, the story is gripping, grounded but then also somehow hilarious at times? It feels incredibly original in a sea of games that have become formulaic. The devs took risks, pushed the boundaries and somehow it all just works. Its really feeling like a masterpiece. This would probably be game of the year if it weren't for Baldurs Gate 3.

Shook that so many people still haven't played Control. :jonnycat: GOTD.
